On-Site Training and Education

Delafuente Law Group, P.A. provides training and information services to our clients and their staff. Specifically, our programs address the needs and concerns of HR professionals, managerial and non-managerial staff, and foreign nationals through regular Onsite Training Sessions and Individual Meetings.

Onsite Training:
The Onsite Training Sessions are designed to address the questions and concerns of the specific group of attendees, whether they are foreign nationals, HR professionals, and/or managers. These sessions provide detailed updates on constantly changing immigration regulations and procedures that affect your organization. We also provide information AILA, USCIS and DOL updates, as well as up-dated reports and suggested strategies.

Individual Meetings:
The Individual Meetings address questions and concerns of foreign nationals on an individual basis. Usually these sessions consist of 10 minute individual appointments on a specified day between a foreign national and an attorney, where the foreign national is able to address his/her individual concerns and have specific questions answered.

Compliance Training:
We regularly conduct on-site I-9 and LCA compliance training of human resource personnel, managers, and other key personnel, tailored to the unique needs and goals of a particular corporate client. Our customized training covers all aspects of I-9 and IRCA compliance, including:

	I-9 form completion, including H-1B portability, TPS and other issues concerning the intricacies of U.S. immigration laws regarding proper I-9 documentation of status.
	Record Keeping Requirements and Best Practices.
	Proper I-9 self-audit, amendment, updating and re-verification procedures.

We also provide training on maintaining a LCA records and performing regular internal audits of the public access files.
