AILA reports that based on current visa number use patterns, the Department of State should be able to allow the category to remain "Current" at least for the October Visa Bulletin. If the pattern of use continues, it is very unlikely that there will be more than 1,000 remaining for use for the November Visa Bulletin. Department of State will likely impose a November cut-off date and the category could become "unavailable" at any point during the month. But, because of "numbers are running out" warnings in recent Visa Bulletins, it would not be unreasonable to expect demand to increase in the coming weeks, which would use up numbers at a faster rate.
